I think I am developing a slight addiction to 3D Pumpkin Carving!
Here is my second official carving of the season: If you are as big a fan of 80′s movies as I am, then you will definitely remember this little guy from the 1984 movie Gremlins. So without further ado, I present to you, “Gizmo”:
The picture above was taken the next morning after the face had been carved, so it was already starting to get dried out. The picture below is of Gizmo – sans ears – and freshly carved – you can see how much more plush the pumpkin flesh was:
He took me about 6 hours to carve from start to finish, but as the old saying goes, “Time flies when you’re having fun!” As I type, out of the corner of my eye I see another pumpkin sitting in the corner of my room….and I’m already concocting a plan for him….
